 is a prime lens that produces a distinct, fully circular, 180-degree image on full-frame cameras. It is designed for creative and scientific applications, capturing exaggerated perspectives with dramatic distortion.

  • Circular image: On a full-frame or 35mm film camera, the lens projects a 180° angle of view as a circular image set within a black frame.
  • APS-C compatibility: When used on an APS-C-format camera, the circular image is cropped, resulting in an ultra-wide-angle, diagonally-oriented fisheye shot.
  • EX DG design: The "EX" denotes Sigma's professional-grade, high-quality lens construction, while the "DG" indicates that it is optimized for use on digital single-lens reflex (SLR) cameras.
  • Advanced optics: The lens contains one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass element to reduce chromatic aberration and color fringing. A Super Multi-Layer Coating also minimizes flare and ghosting for high-contrast, color-accurate images.
