 is a high-performance, weather-resistant telephoto macro lens. It was available for a variety of full-frame DSLR camera mounts, including Canon EF, Nikon F, and Sigma SA, and is also compatible with APS-C sensor cameras. 
The lens is particularly well-suited for macro photography of small, easily disturbed subjects like insects and flowers due to its longer-than-average focal length. It is also highly regarded for portrait and product photography.
